Dallas, NC Family in need of community support

Meet Nora… better known, by me, as Fermin and Jairo Osio’s mom….ohhh can’t forget Miguel. Throughout this baseball season, I would only be able to glance and become acquainted with people who come up to concessions.  I began to notice that one of the Osio family members would not be present as much as others.  Little did I know she, Nora, was battling an illness of a life time…..Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.    As a mom, wife and all of the other many hats we mothers take on, Nora is taking on the extra of having to balance trips to and from chemotherapy(with all of its side effects) and still trying to make her way to the ballfield to watch her children make their marks at North Gaston high school.  I watch as she is overjoyed and yet struggles with emotions with Fermin JR signing to leave the “nest” to attend UNC Asheville in the Fall.  While inquiring on her, I have discovered that the family does not have medical insurance to help buffer this blow.  Purchasing their basic needs, along with monthly and now astronomical medical expenses has become a challenge in itself and that’s where you come in.  I’m asking the Dallas community and the surrounding areas to surround this family with love, prayers and much needed monetary support.  We take so much for granted and we are truly blessed beyond measure, please see to it that we take care of this Dallas community family.  Nora, Fermin, Fermin Jr., Jairo and Miguel thank you in advance!  If you want to help outside of this page, please contact Lisa Williams via facebook.
