Blinded by Love

Brennan is an amazingly bright young man.  He is emotinoally strong and driven.  He is loved by so many! Brennan was born blind and  has been a Mackensen Bulldog since his Kindergarten year with Mrs. Martin.   He  works with Ms. Shannan everyday .  I had him as a first grade student and now I have him again in fifth grade!  Over the past six years, we have watched him bring  joy and inpiration to his peers and any adults that know him.  We have learned so much from Brennan!  He has made us better people and we want to pay it forward with a big surprise! 

Brennan reads, writes and communicates through his Braille Note.   It is a portable computer that helps the visually impaired function effectively in today's world.  It has revolutionized how people with visual impairments live and play!  A BrailleNote is small in size and functions like a laptop.  It has many uses and functions including:   a powerful word processing unit, email and contact support, a planner, a media player, a book reading program, a scientific calculator, an instant messaging system, a GPS program and also comes equip with a dictionary, thesaurus, and a Nemeth Tutorial progam that allows Brennan to learn Nemeth Braille Code for Math and Science as well.  Braille Notes are very costly.

Brennan has a Braille Note to use at school, but not his own personal one.  We think it is an absolute must for him to have now and even more so as he moves on to Western Middle School!  We sure would love to surprise him with his own as a way of giving back!

Please help us with this project!  We will be forever grateful!  Shhhhh....we want it to be a surprise for Brennan!
