Robotics kids Compete @ Canary Isl

Donation protected

The 'TAZBOTS', a team of (7) fourth and fifth grade students from POINCIANA STEM in Boynton Beach, Florida, have been invited to compete at the First Lego League Robotics Competition in Tenerife,  Canary Islands, Spain, in MAY 2016!  http://www.flloec.com/  (pending school board approval).

They have worked hard all year long competing, programming their EV3 robot, and perfecting their research project to show the world what they can do when they add technology to their creative minds. The theme of the competition is "Trash Trek" and the students have designed a website for schools to help them with recycling lessons, maker's space builds, and educational toys.

Please help us get these students to the Canary Islands, meet other teams around the world, and show our gracious professionalism to all other elementary and middle school teams who are there.  We need $20,000 in just two months!

We are so THANKFUL to have supporters in our community and in our world, and your support means continued team bulidng and programming at the school, and more teams to come in the future!

If  you choose to send a check directly to the school, we welcome that as well:  Please in the letter or memo of the check include that they money is to go to the TAZBOT Robotics Team.
