Rogues Atelier Studio Flooding Fund

Hello, I'm one of the resident artists at Rogues Atelier on Fossgate. Unfortunately Jo Walton’s (founder/director of Rogues) upholstery and print making studio has been badly affected by the recent flooding.
This property was never previously a flood risk. The flooding was a direct result of the decision to lift the Foss barrier. As we had no warning this made the impact even more devastating and our insurance does not cover flood damaged contents or loss of earnings.
Your money will be put towards drying and dehumidifying the studio, repairing or replacing damaged equipment which is very specialist and essential for Jo's work and for her students.
Donations will help to make sure the space is returned to a working studio as soon as possible so that Jo can work to replace, electrical equipment, fabric and her traditionally upholstered chairs which were sadly lost. The studio is valued by many people in York and the surrounding area who will want to see it back open as quickly as possible. Your donations, however small, will really make a difference.
Rogues Atelier is a small independent business but an important and valued part of our community. We have been touched and very grateful for the heart warming care from everybody who has helped with the physical clear up so far.
