Help Dr. Don: Detroit Flood
My name is Devo Spice. I do comedy rap, and I'm here to talk about one of my biggest fans. Donald Coleman, known affectionally as Dr. Don, was recently a victim of the severe flooding in Detroit. He had two feet of water in his basement and has lost thousands of dollars worth of personal items, many of which are irreplaceable.
Don has been a huge part of our little comedy-music community, both at The FuMP, on Dementia Radio, and everywhere in between. He authored my live DVD. He edited several videos for me. He has done so much and has asked for absolutely nothing in return. Watching him go through this has been painful and I want to do whatever I can to help.
We will not be able to replace all the photos and other personal items he lost but I'm hoping we can help him ease the burden of replacing the things that can be replaced. And I know $2500 is only a fraction of what he lost, but it seems like a realistic amount that we can raise.
Please keep this a secret until we reach our goal. If you know Don on Facebook or Twitter please don't click on those links on this page or post about the campaign. I'd like to surprise him once we reach our goal.
