We are going to the state competition! Please help us raise the necessary funds so that we can get there!
Our robotics team participates in the First Robotics Challenge. FIRST provides an amazing experience for the kids, where they learn entrepreneurship, STEM, marketing and business management while working cooperatively with their own team members and with other teams. This extremely valuable learning experience comes at a large cost. The entry fee alone is $5000 per year. That doesn't include the extra costs incurred in building our robot, transportation and lodging costs, meals, etc. We were able to rely on grants and small fundraisers for our first few years, but the grants are not as readily available now as they were when we were “rookies.” We would sincerely appreciate any donations to help our team continue to participate!
