We are a relatively small Naturist community in tropical North Queensland, with a strong international reputation for providing a safe and relaxing, although rustic, environment for Naturists from around Australia and overseas to enjoy our facilities in the Aussie bush.
After over thirty years of renting a parcel of land with only verbal assurances that we were welcone to stay, spending a vast amount of money building facilities and infrastructure, maintaining and improving the area we have been privilaged to use, the owner of the property has given us six months to vacate our grounds as the property is to be sold.
The amount of money we have set as our goal will be a very good start and give us a fighting chance to acquire a modest amount of land and put in a road, water supply, begin work on a club house, toilet and shower facilities and community recreation and secure storage facilities.
We have a great collection of hard working members to supply as much labour as possible but will need a large amount of building material.
The clock is ticking on this project and we will need to raise as much as possible in the next three months and hopefully exceed our goal over six months.
This means an enormous amount to, not only our group in Townsville, but the Australian and international Naturist community who are regularly represented on our list of visitors and we are hoping to gain international support to help us improve our situation.
