CVHS Robotics to SkillsUSA NLSC
Donation protected
The Citrus Valley High School pre-engineering and design program has constructed and competed with several robots over the past seven years. The program uses Vex robotics parts and a few different programming languages to control the robots. Robots are constructed to complete a task for points and are graded on their performance. In 2013, one of our teams competed on the international level at the Vex Robotics World Championships. This year, we have competed in the SkillsUSA league and done extraordinarily well. At the regional conference, our teams swept first, second, and third place, advancing to the state level. The state conference offered even greater success and one of our teams received the gold medal, moving on to the national conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
The conference fees, transportation expenses, meals, and lodging add up quickly. We feel that is important to represent the state of California at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. However, in order to go we need financial assistance.
Thank you to any and all donors!
