Our Goal is to increase Cleft awareness, and support continued research.
Lawrence & I are overwhelmed by the amount of love & support we have recieved throughout Joseph's journey! We opened this page to anyone whose hearts are with us reaching our goal but unable to physically attend "Cuts for Cleft."
On August 11th, 2016 our sweet boy Joseph was born with a left unilateral cleft lip & palate. Being first time parents we were joyously anticipating this day, never expecting the challenges to come. Prior to his diagnosis we were unaware this birth defect was even a possibility. We were surprised to learn 1 in 700 babies are born with this condition. Joseph has taught us so much about true resiliency, courage, & inner strength.
On August 11th, 2018 all haircuts will be donated to the University of Michigan- C.S Mott Craniofacial Clinic that specializes in cleft research.
