Our Story
Like many event organizers, the COVID-19 pandemic has put a serious financial strain on the guys at CumUnion. With almost all in-person events currently on hold CumUnion is struggling to stay afloat. Even in the best of times it can be difficult to survive as a small business and we now face an uncertain future.
Why We Need Your Help?
We are reaching out because, like many small businesses around the world, we are in need of community support. For the past three months we have not held any parties to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our patrons, staff and the community. The venues that host our parties were all forced to temporarily close and although some have reopened, many will face restrictions which will limit business activities. And although some CumUnion parties have been scheduled, it will likely be several months, if not longer, before the CumUnion parties you are used to are back in full swing.
What Have We Been Doing?
We have kept busy during the past few months assisting the venues that host our parties in anyway we can. We organized a Bathhouse Employee Relief Fund for which we raised just over $9K and were able to put cash in the pockets of 16 struggling bathhouse employees. We also conducted a customer survey on how to make our industry better and safer in a post-Coronavirus world for which we received over 2,000 responses which were shared with owners and managers of the venues that host our parties to help them plan their reopening.
We have held several online CumUnion parties and plan to host more in the future but we have made these events FREE for those who participate. We would like to be able to keep these online parties FREE but we really need your help.
We understand that many of you are financially impacted by the Coronavirus as well and that donating at this time isn’t an option. For those unable to donate, we ask that you please pass this message along to others.
What Will Your Donations Go Towards?
All donations we receive will go directly towards paying our rent, health insurance, and other essential bills and expenses. Any amount you can contribute helps!
