visions: a crystal oracle deck

Dear friends and community far and wide!
So! what is a crystal oracle deck you ask?
An oracle deck can be used much like a tarot deck as a source of guidance and inspiration when life presents us with its many challenges. It is meant to be an intuitive tool for anyone that chooses to use it, as there is no right or wrong way to do so.
The deck, made up of 40 3" x 4" watercolor paintings on coated heavyweight stock, will feature various crystals and minerals from my personal collection. It will also include a detailed book with helpful, heartfelt descriptions regarding the crystal itself, its purpose for showing up in your reading, zodiac pairing and some helpful suggestions.
The deck and booklet will come in a beautiful hand-dyed pouch for safekeeping.
Whether you are a beginner, expert or just plain think crystals are beautiful; this deck is a powerful tool for deepening your relationship with yourself and the world around you.
My connection with crystals started at a young age thanks to the wisdom of my mother. They continuously fascinate, help, heal and support parts of myself that I cannot often explain. After a lot of searching for a crystal oracle deck that spoke to me, I was left feeling disappointed with my searches and finally decided to embark on the journey of creating my own.
I have been working on this project for over a year now. It has seen me through giant and sometimes down right terrifying life changes one after the other.
This is where you come in! As a working class poor person that is a French Canadian, cis, white ,queer femme with a chronic illness, I do not have the means to front the funds it's going to take to print this deck.
If any of you are familiar with my art you know that a beautifully packaged item awaits you! (check out www.etsy.com/jessikafancy for other examples of my work. Please follow my instagram for regular updates @jfancydesigns I will also be posting more photos as the project develops.
In order to print 1000 decks in time for the holiday season, my goal needs to be reached by November 23rd 2015. However, if the full goal amount is not reached in time, a smaller run will still be printed for mid December 2015. Perks that inlude decks will be shipped out early to mid December 2015. Perks not including a deck will be shipped out in January 2016.
Your support would insure the deck gets printed and then would also be a means of emotional and financial survival. Despite recent losses, I am keeping on with this project because it has brought me so much hope and seeing it to the end would be incredible!
This deck will make the perfect gift for you or any of your loved ones.
