Cristhian Lazo Must Dance

ENG - After his film debut in a lead role in the award winning short film "They Danced" , Honduran dancer, Cristhian Lazo, made it to the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet in Los Angeles, USA with a year scholarship thanks to his talent and the efforts of the short film's director, Jurek Jablonicky and producers.
He has now been offered a 2 year partial scholarship and he needs our help raising funds that will go towards his tuition and living expenses!
Raised by his dad as a single parent, Cristhian proved to be talented at a very young age. They have both defied the limits by challenging a country's sexist views on the art of dance and fighting their way through to somehow fund his ballet lessons, gear and performance wear. Times were tough for father and son, on ocassions balancing their survival and funds to buy a new pair of ballet slippers.
As a promising talent, Cristhian's opportunities to dance in Honduras are few and very far apart! Our efforts will help him return to Marat Daukayev's training and take him to stages beyond our imagination!

ESP - Después de su debut cinematográfico en un papel principal en el cortometraje "Todos Bailaban"
El bailarín hondureño, Cristhian Lazo, llegó a la Escuela de Ballet Marat Daukayev en Los Ángeles, EE. UU. con una beca de un año, gracias a su talento y los esfuerzos del director del cortometraje, Jurek Jablonicky y productores.
¡Ahora se le ha ofrecido una beca parcial de 2 años y necesita nuestra ayuda para recaudar fondos que se destinarán a su matrícula y gastos personales!
Criado por su padre soltero, Cristhian demostró ser talentoso a una edad muy temprana. Ambos desafiaron los límites derrotando el machismo en un país donde el arte de la danza es visto como un arte 'solo para niñas'. Lucharon para financiar de alguna manera sus lecciones de ballet, vestimenta y ropa de rendimiento. Los tiempos fueron difíciles para ambos, en ocasiones equilibrando su supervivencia y fondos para comprar un nuevo par de zapatillas de ballet.
¡Como talento prometedor, las oportunidades de Cristhian para bailar en Honduras son muy pocas! ¡Nuestros esfuerzos lo ayudarán a regresar al entrenamiento de Marat Daukayev y llevarlo a escenarios más allá de nuestra imaginación!
