The Crister Stephen Garrett Scholarship
Our father, husband and best friend's vocation in life was that of teacher.
It was always his goal to encourage young people—to believe in themselves, stand up and find their own voice, and create a world that embraces its differences, knows no borders, and offers everyone an equal chance. We do not want his passing to mark the end of his great goal.
We wish to establish a scholarship to help students follow their own dreams and goals: whether to study abroad, engage in worthwhile internships, or simply flourish in their studies at the University of Leipzig.
The Crister Stephen Garrett Scholarship would assist students with vital necessities like travel or living expenses.
We will be thankful for each donation that brings us closer to honoring the incredible teacher and role model. The number of scholarships we are able to hand out depends on how much we, with your participation, can raise. We will post a call for applications with exact instructions in May. The selection process will be explained and the people, who will help us with that process will be introduced. We’ll post more specific details later.
