Crazy Jim eats bananas!

You’ll sometimes hear someone be described as a “pillar of the community.”  In the sport rocketry community that person is Jim Hendricksen.  For many years at launches around the country as well as online forums, Crazy Jim or Cj as he is known has taken time to share his knowledge and experience with others.  His efforts have directly benefited and grown this niche hobby.  Unfortunately Jim has suffered some serious medical problems recently.  He had open heart surgery last April, and since then has lost 7 teeth due to the side effects of the post-op treatments.  He has insurance on everything except dental, and is being faced with $20,000 in out-of-pocket dental expenses to try and address these complications.  We in the rocketry community would like to help Jim with this financial pain and express our gratitude for all that he has done for our hobby over the years.
