Jake's Motorcycle Rebuild Fund

Hi, my name is Jake. I have been riding motorcycles for about a year. It was mostly city commuting to school and work. I go to a community college part time and I work at a grocery store almost full-time. I had never been in a motorcycle accident before.

One day I decided to go ride in the curved forest roads of Woodside, CA. I was riding downhill and didn't realize how fast I was coming up into the next turn. As I drifted off the road and into the dirt, I panicked and rode right into the side of the hill/road. I had riding gear on and I had almost no injuries apart form having a scratch on my neck and my body being sore. I'm lucky and thankfull to be alive. As for the bike, the whole front end is destroyed. Somehow the engine and running components seem okay. The front forks, wheel, brakes etc. took the brunt of the hit.

I am kindly asking for donations to buy replacement parts for my bike. To keep costs low I will be using the donations from this page to only buy parts and I will put the bike together myself as I can't afford the cost of labor. I'm trying to get the bike back together before the riding season starts after the rain.
 
Riding means so much to me and gives me a feeling of freeedom I have never felt before. I'm so thankfull in advance to anyone donating to get my bike back on the road.
