RIP Dad. Help Our Family!

Edit: The Original Story of why this GoFundMe will remain as it centered around my Father and the Family Help that would be needed in the coming months. And those all still stand.

However, my Father has unfortunately passed on.  He went peacefully on April 2nd, and will be greatly missed by the entire family. Your donations to this point have meant the world to us. If you have any more funds to spare for our cause or can share this around social media, we would be very, very grateful.

My Father knew about this GoFundMe before his passing, and was very proud of me for starting it and helping out the family, and I hope we can continue to. Thank you all.

Hello GoFundMe, my name is Clint Bracey, and my Family needs your help.

 For years now, my Family has had to go through a lot. More than anyone should. My Father is a Navy Veteran, a good man, and for years, had to go through his own family losses and tribulations.
　
These reached a critical point in 1998 with a liver transplant. Though he thankfully survived, his medical issues only increased over time. He would have a heart attack which required a cardiac valve replacement, lung and respiratory problems afterward, and bad infections. He has been in and out of the hospital for years, increasing in frequency these last few especially. Now it is at the point where he is currently unable to walk and may never be able to come home again. If this becomes a reality, all of the money he receives will go to the Nursing Home he currently resides.

My Mother, who has been the workhorse of this family, the rock through all of the times my Father has faced, who has been healthy and stable throughout her entire life, has also been sidelined due to a back problem that has gotten worse over this past year. It has gotten to the point she may never work again and needs to apply for disability.

For the past few years, I have been at home, helping take care of both my Father and now to a lesser extent in comparison, my Mother due to these issues, and being a caregiver any way I can. This was until recently with my Fathers recent setbacks. My Sister and I are the only able bodied people of our immediate family, and she lives away and has her own house and expenses to take care of. Now with the possibility that my Father may not come home and my Mother also being out of work with her injury, there is no guarantee that we will be able to keep our house and the funding for it sustainable in the coming months...

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, and for our family, it may be the hardest time we face. However, I feel like this is also the best place at this current time that I can turn to, to try and just do a little bit more. GoFundMe is a place where hopes and dreams that seem out of reach can turn into a reality, and I'm just hoping that possibly, we can get just a pinch of that magic, to help us in this time.

If you are able to, please, help the family that has done so much for me, and gone through so much themselves. Any amount would help us, and be greatly appreciated. The loftiest goal would be to get enough that we don't have to worry about our expenses for awhile, or ever again in the critical manner we are right now, and have a safe and secure place for funds, but we'll be happy to receive anything from this, big or small.

I greatly appreciate if you have taken the time to read this, and I hope if you are unable to donate to our cause.
