Cortney and her three children’s were in a horrific car accident on the evening of November 30.  A truck spun out and hit them head on, leaving Cortney trapped inside her car. The kids were quickly moved into a passer by’s vehicle who cared for and kept them warm while waiting for emergency vehicles to arrive. All the kids have sustained injuries and are currently in the pediatric ICU under observation. Cortney was finally removed from the car after crews used the jaws of life and over an hour of working to remove her. She is currently in surgery and has at least 20+ hours of surgery ahead of her in the coming weeks. After surgery she will also be placed in the ICU and is still labeled as critical condition. Cortney will spend at least 2 weeks in the hospital while they do the surgeries, after that she will be admitted to a rehab center until she can walk again. I can’t imagine the cost of this.
