Cork Lions Club are fundraising to place 12 AED's in Cork City Centre - your donation will help us to save lives!
Early access to a defibrillator with CPR more than doubles the survival rate of persons suffering sudden cardiac arrest. Every minute lost awaiting the intervention of CPR or a Defibrillator reduces the chance of survival by 10%. The aim of the project is to allow the public in Cork City Centre access to a Defibrillator within 2 minutes on a 24 x 7 basis on all the main pedestrian routes in the city centre and within 4 minutes on all other streets.
