Coping With Limitations 2017

Donation protected
“Coping With Limitations” was an effort started in 2013 as a way to advocate for “Acceptance”, “Understanding”, “Empowerment”, and “Community” for individuals working through various life traumas.

Since its inception CWL has donated over $1,000 towards aiding individuals of all ages in coping with their special needs.  We have also teamed up with BronyCon to donate over $250 to assist in their annual charity to fight cancer.  Our team has also spent hundreds of hours working with, advising, and counseling people from all walks of life towards thriving despite life challenges they may have, are, or will face.

The pinnacle of our achievement is our international presentation at BronyCon.  It is here we have handed out numerous resources that guide people to where they can further their journey of self-advocacy.  We’ve also allied ourselves with other disability rights advocates to spread our developing message far beyond the walls of the Baltimore Convention Center.

Founder and Project Lead, Matthew Palumbo, has gradually lost all of his physical vision over the course of spearheading the efforts CWL has accomplished.  He’s sold numerous items of his personal collection to fund over 80% of the team cost to get to, stay at, present, and ensure the cause continues to succeed far beyond the international presentation.  However he no longer has anything to sell to fund the effort and is still recovering from spending over 100 days away from home in-and-out of surgery throughout 2016 as a result of his eye requiring medical intervention to remain healthy despite losing all of his physical sight.

The above is why we are asking for your support this year.  All funds raised will help in developing presentation content along with lodging the team.  All funds raised above our goal will be donated to BronyCon’s 2017 charity.

No one has, or ever will, profit from CWL.  It is a labor of love that Matthew and his team believe in that targets parents, children, and young adults to judge themselves or others based on ill-conceived stereotypes or stigmas.

Thank you for your support in making this our most inspirational presentation to date.  Together we can all make a difference.
