Connor Gage Never Walk Alone Memorial Fund
Connor Francis Gage had an untimely death at the age of 19 when he succumbed to hypothermia at the University of Vermont. He was a beloved member of his community in the Mowhawk Valley, and an exceptionally motivated student. He studied neuroscience with aspirations of becoming a physician when he lost his life. Do not let his limitless potential go to waste. Your donation will help educate young people on mutual accountability and the dangers of exposure, especially when using alcohol and drugs.+ Read More
Ride success! Thank you to the University of Vermont and UVM Bikes for the compassion and grit! We had a great showing for the snowy ride around campus, and warm reception after. Whether met by a familiar face or a new acquaintance, the easy camaraderie was a testament to our shared connection to Connor; and these relationships will only continue to grow. A sponsored award will be initiated this year for a UVM Bikes volunteer who embodies Connor's dedication, enthusiasm, and compassion. The coordinated effort will help carry on his legacy and ensure his spirit remains part of UVM and the greater Burlington community. Thank you all for your continued support, and stay tuned for further event announcements, especially as the weather improves!
The first event in Connors memory will be held tomorrow at 3:45 PM at the University of Vermont. The UVM bike co-op where Connor volunteered has organized a bike ride which will be followed by a reception. All are welcome to join in any part of the event to lend support, share memories, and carry on Connor’s passion for giving back to the community through cycling and staying active.
