My name is Brandy Connelly, and I'm writing on my family's behalf. Thank you for taking a moment to read more about me and my family, and about our desire to adopt to grow our family. :)

I am a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful girls, Lilyahna and Charlotte. It is a blessing and a priviledge to stay home to raise my girls. I am also the director of the children's ministry at my church, which is something I'm very passionate about. Some of my other interests include fitness, organizing, reading, and teaching. I have my teaching degree, and one day when the kids are grown and in school, I intend on pursuing my teaching career.
My husband, Chester, is an established project manager with a passion for sportbikes, outdoor sports, health, and fitness. We have been together for eight years, and it has been an amazing journey! We're both from the mid-West (WI and IA), which is where most of our extended family lives now, and that is where we met. I was going to college and he was starting his career.... and the moment we met, we knew our lives would never be the same. :)
Lilyahna and Charlotte, ages 4 and 2 respectively, are beautiful, vibrant, smart, and spunky, and they fill our lives with so much joy. They are amazing, to say the least!

Chester and I always knew we wanted to adopt to grow our family, and we are now ready to begin this journey. Two of my sisters were adopted into my family when I was 12, and that prepared my heart (and now Chester's heart) for adopting a child into our family. The love I feel for my sisters goes deep; our bond is unbreakable and unconditional. I love them with all that I am, and I know me and Chester are now ready to share that love with a little girl that needs a loving home.
We are currently in the adoption process with Hope's Promise Adoption Agency located in Castle Rock, Colorado. They told us that there is anywhere between a one to three year wait to be matched with a baby...
So while we're waiting to be matched, we're trying to raise money to cover the costs associated with adoption. Anyone who donates will receive updates on our adoption process and details on how the money is being used. There is a strict fee schedule outlined by the adoption agency that we'll be following. Feel free to give a one time gift of money or a monthly gift; do whatever you're feeling lead to do. If we somehow end up with a surplus of funds, then that money will be used in one of several ways: a savings fund for our new little one, a savings fund for a second adoption in the future, or a donation to a charity that helps families with adoption costs.
We're hoping to have all the funds we need by December 2016, so we can bring home our baby girl soon.
To have our friends, family members, neighbors, and acquaintances helping us with these costs means so much to us! We know that it takes a village to raise a child, and that is why we are not hesitant to ask for financial help. We have been called by God to take in the orphans of this world, and we feel it is now our turn to take action. Please help us in any way you can. Every penny counts.
We will be eternally grateful for your financial support and your prayers. This is a new journey for us, and we are so excited to see how God uses each of you to help us on this journey. Blessings to each of you!
