Concert organist builds a career!

Hallo everyone!
Of course, first comes the PESSIMISTIC PART:
There are so many things we learn about our profession only after graduation from the University. I had to learn a heartbreaking one: no one needs me.
My name is Alexandra, I am a concert organist. I grew up in Russia and moved to Germany to study piano and organplaying.
Here is something I understood very fast: there are just a few concert jobs in Germany, which are taken by some star organists, also the concert organists are not allowed to get a job in the church (again, if you are not a star).
Something I got later: the agencies and the artistic managers are not working with the organists, due the specific of the profession. ItsI only your name, which works for you.
And the hardest thing I learned after my graduation: even my teachers, who kept telling me, how fabulous I was, just had no connections, no power to do anything for me.
So, I lived with a wrong hope all that time.
But anyway. It's not that pessimistic.
OPTIMISTIC PART! :)
I received a great education and graduated with best marks. I work as a freelancer, I accompany the soloist and choirs, I teach kids to play piano and I play my concerts. But it's rare to get a possibility to play a big projects. I performed solo at the several international organ festivals, and I keep applying for more of them, because it is quite a bore to be on top of the form and have no chance to show myself out or get any impulse for more developement.
At the moment I earn about 900€ a month, which usually covers all the costs , but sometimes I have to ask my parents for financial help.
Now I got an opportunity to study in France with a great organ teacher. Very important is, that it will give me a possibility to get deeper into the international organ life, get more connections, new concerts, better quality and better chances to find a job!
It wasn't an easy decision, but...
I will move in August!
PROBLEMATIC PART:
All that means, I have to give up my students, my choirs, my singers and start a whole new life. It will take some time to build up my life in the other country, so for the first months I will have no income, but a lot of costs.
I have to pay 470 euro for the semester at school, also 180 euro every month for my medical insurance, and at least 550 euro a month for a room or a flat. I think, it will take 5 to 7 month to get started with earning some money, some attention, some acceptance. I still will keep my concerts in Germany, but the travel costs will bring the profit to zero.
So I set up this gofundme page to raise 3000 euro to cover those costs for the first months.
I want to follow my dream to build a beautiful career as a classical musician and I am not ready to give up.
AND THE NICE FINAL PART:
I promise to keep you updated on the way I will use this money.
To thank you for the donations I can send you one of my life recorded CDs with German or French organ music.
Please, write me to
[email redacted]
and tell me, which one you prefer!
You can listen to some recordings of mine at Soundcloud.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
I thank you in advance for your support and I am also just greatfull for every good word.
Thank you and hope to hear from you!
