Completing Solo Sandeng's Dream House

On April 14th, 2016, political activist Solo Sandeng was arrested and brutally murdered for protesting and demanding political reform under Yahya Jammeh’s dictatorship. Prior to his untimely death, Solo had started building his dream house to accommodate his very young family of 10 people. Solo having been the ONLY breadwinner of the family, brought this housing construction to a halt. We as a nation must not allow Solo's family to continue living in a rented home.
Solo died for our freedom and we are prepared to complete his dream house. It is in this vein that Gambians at home and in the diaspora have come together to raise funds to complete the project Solo started. We can never reward his sacrifice for Gambia, but each and every one of us donating towards this great cause is giving a token of appreciation.
