Compassion Pipeline for Orphans

Donation protected

1. Quest: To raise money for food, medicine and clothing for http://maximocornejo.org

**Link to translate into English on the right side of the home page.

We already have an entire large box of school supplies to take with us on the plane, and further down you will find a list of items we'll buy in Mexico.

2. Guarantee: We will document, by video and pictures, our visit to the orphanage and post those updates here in gofundme for all donaters to see we are true to our word.  You will be able to truly enjoy and witness where your kindness has landed. Our trip is fully booked and we land In Puerto Vallarta January 2016.

3. Why We Do This: We have been fortunate enough to vacation in Puerto Vallarta 3 times in the last 5 years. Each time we have gone, we have done something for those less fortunate than us. The first few times we donated computers to students who we knew would excel from receiving refurbished units. One of them has already graduated and is now working. When we return to P.V this January our targets are set on a local orphanage http://maximocornejo.org/

4. How: You can donate entirely anonymously or use your full name. It's totally up to you.

5. About Us:  We share this with all of you to gain your utmost trust in knowing our hearts are in the right place, and to assure you that your donations WILL make it to its intended recipients.

I am the Manager of The Rock Solild Antibullying Foundation http://www.rocksolid.bc.ca/
that raises funds to put our award winning WITS program http://witsprogram.ca/ into schools for free.

My husband and I own and operate Brother Nature Certified Organic seeds. http://www.brothernature.ca/

We donate seed to our local food kitchens that have gardens to grow their own food.

6. Our Committment: In the interest of showing you that we are genuine in our quest, here is yet another link to one of our previous quests donating a computer to a student in need at his home.

Our main focus is purchasing some or, with everyones' help, many of the items on the list below. These are some of the things the orphanage listed on their site that were in high demand. You can go see this list on their site for yourself using the link posted at the top of this page.

Basics:
Bottles, diapers, talc and wipes, milk, powdered infant milk, oil, sugar, fish, meat, fruit, vegetables.

Medications:

Child Buscapina, Mejoralito, Child Tempra, baby diaper rash ointments, Caladryl, Baycuten of cutaneous use,
Quadriderm of cutaneous use.

Clothing and Shoes:
Anything for babies right through to teenagers.

Cleaning Products:
Brooms, dustpan, mops, liquid soap for hand washing, laundry detergent.

7: Why a GoFundMe Campaign:
We were initially going to just bring the school supplies we already have and, once we land, purchase food stamps for the orphanage with our own funds. However, a dear friend (and a now fully involved particpant in our quest) Wendy McLeod suggested we try crowd sourcing to see if anyone else wished to join in on the fun and good feelings you'll get from a cause that would really benefit, in countless ways, from any and all monetary donations.

We will also accept and transport gently used items like toys and clothing via West Jet. They ship hardship packages for free! Please email us if you have something you think would be suitable for our quest.

Depending on how successful this campaign is, we will also purchase more food stamps in the event there is little storage at the orphange, as well as some common medicines for future use.

Lastly, if you've never been anywhere like the poorer, outer lying communities of Puerto Vallarta, you can never know what real poverty looks like. For us it was life changing. We are always pretty grateful for our lives but now whenever we feel that gratitude slipping away,  we recall the things we saw the day we went to Pitalle to give a teenager the computer you saw in the video. The car ride to his home was heartbreaking.

We in Canada have welfare and food banks, they have nothing like that. They are left to fend for themselves. There are hungry , sick and destitute people in adundance. When a child comes to your car window half clothed, wafer thin and clearly hungry, the feeling is absolutely indescribable.

So, in light of not being able to help families individually we opted to help one place that may give at least some of the children a fighting chance to be nourished, educated and loved, and that place is http://maximocornejo.org/

We are super happy and grateful for any amount you can donate to our quest.  Any amount is acceptable. Every dollar counts as a few Canadian dollars stretches a little further when it is converted to Mexican Pesos.

Many pictures and videos will be posted of our visit with dates and times of when the donations are actually given to the caretakers of the children.

Sincerely, we can't wait to do this! It will be the highlight of our trip without question, and will make our time there so much more enjoyable knowing we've been able to assist people other than the ones we already help here in our home country of Canada.

Thank you to all who partcipate. Your hearts are in the right place and the children will be forever grateful for your kindness.  Peace, love and light to all.

Bless you,
