Community Supported Rites of Passage

Consider sponsoring a youth to attend a 6 day, 5-night Young Men's Mentorship and Rites of Passage Program at Tipi Camp on Kootenay Lake!  The Program is being offered Aug 21 - 26th 2018 and is open to teens 14-16 years of age. 

Help a youth unplug from their devices and plug-into nature, connection and community.

Your donation will go directly into creating both full and partial bursaries for youth with financial barriers to attend the program and have an golden opportunity to connect with nature, discover their purpose, and step into their lives!  Rites of Passage transform the fires of adolescence into warmth, purpose and direction and help boys discover their gifts!

Activities include: canoe trips, games, art, solo time, council, myth, journaling, wilderness survival, sit-spots, bird language, cliff-jumping, tracking, awareness, thanksgiving, self-generated ceremony. Teens will be met, challenged, nurtured, inspired and mentored through this rite of passage.

Your contribution will do directly to removing financial barriers and provide opportunities for youth to have a life-changing encounter with the beauty of Kootenay Lake and an awesome team of heart-centered men.  We are on a mission to reconnect men and boys to the earth in healing ways that regenerate both culture and nature;  re-dreaming rites of passage, with a combination of both contemporary and ancient pathways.
