In the Summer of 2015, a small group of pinball afficienados here in Columbia organized the Palmetto Pinball Club. We loved pinball, but we grew weary of playing iffy machines in dive bars and restaurants spending a fortune in less than ideal play conditions. So, we took matters into our own hands, rented a space, bought some killer machines, and opened our own club. Well, let me tell you, over the last year, we've grown tremendously, and we believe it's time to bring pinball back to Columbia.

Thus, we are pleased to announce the formation of the Columbia Pinball Museum. Catering to kids and adults alike, we're going to open a modern pinball venue focused on fun and active learning.

I'm also pleased to say that we've found our new home. It's a beautiful building that will be perfect for us. Located at 550 Meeting Street in West Columbia, SC, we'll have room to expand to 23 pinball machines, and we'll be adding some arcade / video games. We've got a great room for parties, functions and boardgames. Add to that a covered deck and a spacious yard, and we have all the makings for creating an amazing family focused entertainment venue.

Now comes the begging for money. We really want to make this an amazing venue for everyone, but it's going to take some money. We're going improve handicap accessibility and improve the structure.

But we want more than that. Part of what will make this spot oh, so cool, is the ambiance of lighting and the mix of color. Please help us with that. We want to install funky "arcade" carpet in the main pinball hall and funky lighting throughout the building. The total cost for lighting and carpet is $2500.
