Colton Zeman "Strong"

Colton Zeman is a 6 year old boy from Springfield, Oregon who is full of energy, sweetness, and pure joy. On January 6, 2019, after several visits to the doctor, it was discovered by medical staff that there was an active bleed within Colton's brain, known as "AVM" Arterial Venus Malformation. It is believed that the condition has been dormant in Colton since birth; however, the condition has now came to light.
While there is no question in our minds that Colton will beat this with great strength. It is anticipated that Colton will be subject to brain surgery along with other treatment plans taking place at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR.
During this period Colton and his supporting family will be spending a lot of time at the hospital. As some of you may know Colton's father Austin had just transitioned to a new job after a 15 + year career in the beverage industry. Austin instantly found great pride and enjoyment with his new local employer who has also shown tremendous support to this situation. We would like to share that due to the recent job change, the Zeman family was in between insurances, and will likely be facing medical expenses without any consideration of insurance contributions until the new employment grace period has tolled. With great urgency, we have created this page for the Zeman family to allow them to focus on what's most important at this time, which is supporting Colton and being together as a family.
Please keep sending the love and prayers for Colton and his family. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and appreciate any proceeds that can be afforded to help the Zeman family during this time. Despite this difficult time, we did get an update from the Zeman family who was beyond appreciative regarding the support which they have experienced from members of their community and OHSU Medical Staff. Lets continue to show our support for Colton who will undergo surgery this Friday January 11, 2019.
