Getting my gear together after jail

I am on the razor's edge of survival. I need to get basic supplies to make sure I can survive in the short term. These things are not luxuries, but what will be necessary to keep me from falling apart. I have been fighting so many battles that I have failed to maintain the bare minimum.
I need a new bike, new pack, travel gear like sleeping pads and MOLLE expansions. My shoes are worn thin and my back is almost in revolt. Being able to carry my load effectively on a daily basis is paramount.
My ILBE pack is disintegrating. The straps wore out, were wrapped in duct tape, and wore out all over again. The straps to the main pack from shoulder harness has failed, been tied together and are failing again. It is time to replace. My super heavy duty pack is an important asset. It lasted me a thousand day and saw a tour of duty with a soldier before that. I will be buying a replacement. Same one. I have add-ons and stuff for it and it was unparalleled in value.
My bike is at the end of its life. Its a 94’ Schwinn road bike 700c with 25 mill rims. There are several problems, not the least of which I am pushing its engineering limits with my weight and the pack. And it has no way to add a rack without expensive modification. I will switch to a commuter bike that is better suited for my immense frame (I am pushing 300lbs myself, with no gear).
A mobile ground pad is essential for urban stealth camping. It will allow me to travel on little funds with little notice. Critical when you have no idea where you will end up. I also have seen inflatable pet beds I may consider for my little partner. I have a lightweight sleeping bag that is perfect for SoCal already. I will order compression sacks, though.
There is an assortment of electronic gear I need too. I have a new GoPro and must get the accessory pack for it. So I can strap it to my face and keep my hand free to deal with the danger I face every day. Backup batteries and memory cards. A case for my Laptop. A new mouse and keyboard.
I don’t need to be mobile for convenience. I need it for survival. Just my shower commute is almost too much to take without overnight gear. You know those destroyed old bums you see? The ones that smell and are damned to eternal poverty? I’m almost there. But not yet. I may be able to bring it back if I don’t collapse now. Probably not. But maybe.
