Welcome! Allow me to introduce to you, Victoria McCall, teaching professional of nearly 10 years and now, founder and creator of COLOREDS ONLY.
COLOREDS ONLY is an organization focused on a Black-only space that emphasizes education, arts, politics and culture. Through uniquely-crafted free courses, programming and events, COLOREDS ONLY aims to connect with, engage and empower the Black youth and community at large, including yourselves.
Today, we are raising money to purchase a commercial building in North Philadelphia that will serve as a safe, challenging space to grow individually with the purpose of black empowerment and expression.
We aim to host the grand opening by September 2016. Your gracious donation will go towards the purchase and closing costs of the building. Additionally, funds will cover any necessary renovation plus furnishing.
Victoria has worked with students ranging from Kindergarden to 12th grade in public and charter schools in Philadelphia and New York City . Her extensive educational background began at Temple University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Spanish followed by a Master's degree in Special Education from Chestnut Hill College. More recently, she received her second Master's Degree in Women's History from Sarah Lawerence College in New York.
COLOREDS ONLY is a byproduct of Victoria's love for learning and relentless devotion to reinforce pride from within and to embrace and protect the Black consciousness. Investing and celebrating is vital in this new wave of gentrification.
