Dear Brothers,
It is with heavy hearts that we relay the news of the passing of Jeffrey Trovato ’03, O-1602, from colon cancer.
Jeff, better known to many as “Hoss”, hailed from Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and studied in the College of Engineering. Over the years, he served as treasurer as well as alumni chair of Omicron Zeta. He was our resident tech-expert, an impromptu chef, piano player extraordinaire, and a good friend. Jeff leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, and their two year-old son Jude. On their behalf, we are starting a fundraiser to help finance Jude’s future college education. Jeff’s Cornell days and the friendships he made at LXA meant the world to him, and affording Jude the same opportunities would be a wonderful gift in Jeff’s memory.
We will all keep our memories of Jeff close in our hearts, and raise a glass in his honor for years to come.
