I am starting this page for my friend, co-worker, and CFO of Bergey Windpower Company. I am sure that you have seen the news with the stories about an armed & masked gunman who entered our workplace and attempted to kidnap me (his estranged wife.) He shot her when she tried to keep him from dragging me out the door.
Colette sat right next to me for the last 4 years. She and her husband have a 6 year old daughter, and have been hoping to have another child. The thought of her current & future pain and suffering is almot too much to bear. Right now I don't know how I can even face her, much less sit next to her everyday and see the constant reminder of what my husband did to her.
It is my intention to try and help provide whatever funds can be raised to support them during what looks to be an extended amount of recovery time. She will not be able to work, so she and her family will suffer a significant loss of income during her recovery. Your donation would help cover income loss, extensive surgeries, and any other expenses that may occur due to this tragedy.
Any amount you can give would mean more to me that you will ever know. It would mean so much to me if I could at least make it possible for them to receive something for her family that would lessen the pain and suffering they are going through. I hope that it will provide some sort of relief and comfort for them, as their plans for the future were so unexpectedly & suddently halted.
