My son Let me start off by telling you what an amazing, compassionate, loving, caring person Cody Lane Grinus was... He lived everyday like it was his last, he was always doing something and he was always surrounded by those he loved and cared about. He was nothing short of an amazing friend... He had so many goals and dreams, and he loved talking about the future and how he can't wait to start his life and get his stuff together, he was a small town kid, with some big dreams... dreams that were cut short in the course of a few mins on November 21st, 2016. It was around noon (12 pm) when Cody was driving his girlfriends car and he lost control, crashed and was flung out 100 feet through the window of the car.. He suffered severe blunt trauma to his head. His neck, and skull were severely fractured , he also suffered subdural subarachnoid hemerages (when blood leaks into the space between two of the membranes that surround the brain), multiple rib fractures, and laceration of his lung tissues. No one deserves to die like that... He was in immense pain, and to think that his family has to mourn and also worry about how to come up with the money to lay him to rest is incredibly hard. Cody would give the clothes on his back to anyone who asked. He was the most generous person I've ever known, anywhere he'd be he would be the center of attention, and he would put a smile on everyone's face... His mom is trying to sleep away the pain, knowing that our baby boy never made it home. Please share this we need as much as support. Even if it's just 50 cents or a prayer. Please please help.
