My name is Chris Villarreal and I’m great friends with Cody’s mother Cheryl. My 10 yr old son plays soccer with Cody’s younger brother. I have setup this fundraiser to help their family during this difficult time.
On November 7th, 2018 we lost our beloved Cody to a senseless act of violence. Cody passed away helping people during the mass shooting that occurred in Thousand Oaks, CA. He will be remembered as a true hero.
Cody was an umpire for a youth baseball league in Camarillo and had plans to enlist in the Army. He had such a big heart and was an amazing son and big brother. Cody has touched so many people in his life. An amazing kid gone way too soon.
I have been in contact with the family members of Cody's father and they are aware of this fundraiser for Cody. Cody's mother and father are the beneficiaries of this account. We appreciate all of your help during this difficult time.
