Our family's beloved cocker spaniel, Coco, has two large tumors on her breasts that must be removed immediately. The surgery costs $1,200. This cost includes: the mastectomy (which will also remove the small tumors near the two large ones), the hospital exam and hopitalization, blood work, IV fluids, anesthesia, biopsy, medications, heartworm testing and xrays. I lost my job and we cannot afford the surgery. We were told by the vet that if the largest tumor (see photo) gets any bigger, it will be inoperable and she will have to be euthanized to prevent her from suffering. We have to have the surgery performed before the end of December. Her internal organs are clear from cancer and the diagnosis is that this surgery will prolong her life. Coco is the sweetest dog and, despite the tumors, is active and has a good quality of life -- she is very much loved by our three children. Please help us save Coco's life. We would be grateful for any assistance.
God Bless you and your family this holiday season.
