Cocorobics Workshop

My name is Marjo Lagah-Bona, and I am a 25-years-old dancer, choreographer, certified Zumba instructor, dance fitness teacher and an entrepreneur. I was born and raised in the United States to Sierra Leonean parents. As a young creative, I grew a passion for African dance, and started performing at events at the tender age of 14, even though I’d never been to Africa. That passion has now grown to the business, CocoRobics, a mixture of dance from different parts of the world (mostly African), fused with aerobics.

CocoRobics!

Over the years, I’ve invested time to enrich my talent, which can be seen in my videos. I’ve been in dance groups, performed for, and with A-list African celebrities; the biggest accomplishment of them all would be me starting CocoRobics.

I started CocoRobics, which is a dance fitness program two years ago in Pennsylvania. The purpose of CocoRobics is to create an environment that fulfills the desire of individuals who have a passion for music, dance, entertainment, dance fitness, socializing, and reducing mental stress. I have been to different states, successfully taught dance classes, and hosted CocoRobics for the past two years and I feel that I am now ready to expand CocoRobics as not just a lifestyle, but a brand as well.

The Mission

The ultimate goal of this venture is to own a CocoRobics studio in the near future. Haven been raised by a single mother, she has done her best over the years to support me both mentally and financially, but I now need a helping hand from caring and generous people around the world to turn my dream to a reality. This is my plea to the world, asking for everyone who wants to help CocoRobics grow to donate and help me start my business. Any donation, big or small can, and will make a difference.
