It is with deep sadness for us to announce the passing of a great man. Coach Jim Scott passed away on January 5th , His memory will be eternal. Many of us knew Coach Jim Scott as one of our favorite coaches. He is also a loving father, husband, and friend.
Many have asked how they can help and this is our opportunity. The money raised in this campaign will help his family cover some of the costs of his remaining medical bills and funeral expenses.

Jim Scott is a Coach, Teacher, Husband, Father to 3 wonderful children and dear friend to many. In June 2015 Coach Scott was Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Coach Scott is going to attack this challenge like he attacks every challenge he faces. He will need the maximum amount of resources both emotionally and financially to overcome this disease. The medical expenses are starting to accumulate, and any help we can give to assist his family would be very helpful. Coach Jim Scott has been a high school football and Track coach for the past 23 Years. He currently coaches at Klein Collins HS and has also coached at Magnolia HS, Westfield HS, Galena Park HS and Park Hill HS in Kansas City. Coach Scott graduated from Baker University in Kansas where he was an All-American Offensive Lineman. Jim earned his Masters Degree in Education from University of Houston. His hometown is Louisiana, Missouri. Jim is happily married to Priscilla. They have 3 children, Hayden (graduate of Klein Collins HS/currently playing football at SFA.
