Help LaNiya study abroad

‌Hi, My name is LaNiya Hooks. I’m 17 years old and I’m a 12th grader in high school. My dream is to study and learn as many languages as possible. I would like to be able to help people and travel the world. I feel that the best way to start helping someone is by connecting with them and what is a better connection than being able to communicate with that person in their native tongue. I have had this dream since I was young. A wonderful opportunity has opened up for me and I would love to share it with you. The People to People International student program has  presented me with a life changing opportunity. The Mediterranean Dream, a 19 day journey to Italy, France and Spain. This really is an opportunity that could potentially open up many doors for me in the near future. This summer I will have completed my high school career and I am planning to start my college journey in the fall of 2016 as a Linguistic Major with a minor in History. Being apart of the People to People International Student Program will  give me a better understanding of the major I  plan to study for the next four year. I am doing everything in my power to keep this door open but there is only so much a 17 year old can do, so I come to you asking for just a little help. The cost to go in this trip is 7,000 dollars. This price will include 3 meals per day, all accommodations while on this trip, travel on motorcoach and transit, taxes and tips, Airfare, and all admissions and activity fees. Anything that you can donate will be greatly appreciated. By going on this trip I hope to experience what it is like to be in a new country immersed in the culture and the language.
