ALTHOUGH WE'VE MADE OUR INITIAL GOAL OF $1000, WE'RE GOING TO KEEP PUSHING TO ENABLE MORE YOUTH/TEENS TO EXPERIENCE 'BLACK PANTHER.' THANK YOU FOR THE CONTINUED SUPPORT!
With all the excitement centered around the release of 'Black Panther,' CrownKeepers are eager to ensure that a great deal of Charlotte's 'Black' and 'Brown' youth/teens are able to experience this blockbuster, as well.
The donated funds will be, specifically, used to: 1) transport the group to and from theater; 2) pay for entry of teens to see 'Black Panther'; 3) enable the group of youth/teens to eat while at the movies; and 4) provide each youth/teen with a BLK POW sweatshirt designed by a local designer/artist--supporting a deserving small business.
As the release date for 'Black Panther' is February 16th, it is imperative that we receive funds, as soon as possible, but no later than February 5th. In so doing, we can arrange the necessary accommodations with the benefiting organizations: Hope for Harvest, Inspire the Fire and Garinger High School.
Your support will be greatly appreciated and inspire youth/teens that are often at the mercy of a merciless society. It is our hope that upon viewing this powerful feature, they too realize that they are gifted with 'special powers' and can positively impact the world in which we live.
