Clothes & Food for Everyone

Hi. My name is Luis.

I am a 4th grader at the California Montessori Project in Elk Grove, California. 

As my school project, I chose to fundraise for CAFFE.

CAFFE stands for Clothes and Food for Everyone.

CAFFE feeds the homeless of Sacramento every Sunday at the Cesar Chavez Park.

My good friend Armando founded CAFFE more than eight years ago.

Armando relies on donations and volunteers to feed the homeless.

I helped Armando feed the homeless.

I felt sad to see so many people living in the streets.

Some wore coats and had mud on their faces.

Some were old and some were young.

Some had mental illness.

Many were women.

I felt good feeding them.

My friend Armando needs money to feed the homeless.

There are hundreds of homeless people in Sacramento.
