Clipper Race 2019-2020: Pacific Leg

I need your help to raise $20,000. Here's why.

In 2020 I'll be 50 years old. So far I've done some pretty amazing things in my life - graduate from West Point, spend 15+ years in law enforcement, and raise my daughter (Lauren) with my wife (Stacey).

I recently learned how to sail. I didn't go the usual route of signing up for a couple of classes and testing the water. Nope. Not me. I jumped straight in and bought a 19' sailboat determined to get it on the water and under sail. Did I mention I had no idea how to do any of that when I bought it? Crazy, right?!

Let me tell you, I've discovered a lot along the way. A lot about trusting myself, being open to new ideas, rolling with the punches, and staying on course when life pushes me away from my dreams.

Now, I'm ready for the biggest adventure of my life - to sail across the Pacific Ocean. Qingdao, China to the west coast of the US to be exact.

I'll spend 28 days crossing the largest body of water on the planet with 19 other crew members in this epic race - the  Clipper Race ‌ - that takes normal people (me and probably you) and gives them an extraordinary opportunity to do something they never thought was possible. Go big or go home, right?!
