Levi Gibson is embarking upon a mission to climb Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania in July 2019 in an effort to raise funds for St Brigid’s Primary School, Gwynneville to install a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System, and in doing so become the first primary school in the Illawarra (124 schools) to be virtually electricity independent.
The proposed 35kW Solar Photovoltaic System presents a target budget of $32,400 to purchase Tier 1 technology that includes a 30-year performance warranty.
All expenses associated with administering the Climbing for the Sun Project, both financial and in-kind, will be entirely covered by Rana Environmental so you can have confidence that 100% of funds raised will go towards the solar PV system supply and install cost.
And that’s where you come in. The Project is seeking your financial support to raise $32,400 in order to purchase and install the solar PV system.
The good news? A donation of just $100 today equates to a cumulative donation of $1,100 in electricity cost savings over the systems 30-year performance warranty period, at the current market rate. Money that can otherwise be spent upon school resources. Talk about a gift that just keeps giving!
