Clifton Harris Memorial Fund

Hello everyone, my father Clifton Harris unfortunately passed away on Thursday March 2nd 2017. He unfortunately passed away due to post surgery complications in which he had his pancreatic cancer removed, in which he had a leakage that filled his stomach with deadly fluids that poisoned all his organs. Suffering from a long and hard battle with not one but two cancers: pancreatic and prostate put a lot of undue stress on his fragile healing body. My father was a truly genuine loving and supportive father who always put others first. He was always family oriented making sure everyone had anything they needed even if his needs were unattended. He was warm hearted and a had a truly loving and caring soul, always seeming to light up the room where ever he was with his silly jokes and warm smile, he was always the life of the party. Being a military man he was always strong serving in the Air force in Vietnam, he selflessly put his life for the freedom we have today. He left behind a loving wife of 37 years and 4 amazing children who always stayed by his side through thick and thin till the very end. He was a loving father, son, uncle and grandfather and friend to many. We would like to ask for support for his funeral funds, death being sudden is unexpected and quick leaving loved ones to sometimes worry on what to do next. We his loving family are asking for loving support to cover the cost for his funeral and burial costs. The money will be going towards the cost of having a funeral service for my father and the cost of also having him cremated with the following services that follow the mortuary taking care of him, his urn, and other burial expenses. My family and I have already been in contact with the VA and unfortunately we will have to come out of pocket with 7 thousand upfront for his mortuary and funeral services expenses, the VA only reimburses money 3-5 months after his services have already been paid for. Anything helps, and we would appreciate everyone and anyone who donates towards the cost of his burial and memorial service, I didn’t expect to lose my father so suddenly and I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who donates to our cause, I appreciate everything and anything.
