CLEAN WATER KENYA  provides Portable Bio-Water Filter Systems and Rain Barrels to Maasai and Kampo villages in the Rift Valley and Northeastern Kenya.

Incorporated in January 2016, CWK  has provided 247 Filter Systems and Rain Barrels to 187 villages, 3 rural health facilities, 1 school and the homes of 4 volunteers in Kenya giving over 30,000 men, women and children access to clean disease-free water on a daily basis.

After Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, CWK  through its Disaster Relief Project delivered 442 Filter Systems in November 2017 and helped over 7,000 of our fellow citizens gain access to clean drinking water.

Since its inception, Clean Water Kenya's efforts have filtered over 1 million gallons of polluted water in both Kenya and Puerto Rico.

For just $49 YOU can provide a Maasai or Kampo family or an entire village clean disease-free drinking water for 5 years. ANY AMOUNT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

We are a grass-roots organization staffed by volunteers here in the States and Overseas. 100% of every dollar you donate goes to the purchase and delivery of our Chujio Filters and Barrels. These life-saving items are locally manufactured in Limuru, Kenya. Your contribution also offers gainful employment to the local population and a boost to the local economy. YOU are the reason lives are being saved every day!

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps save lives!

Our website is www.cleanwaterkenya.com. You can donate here, at our website or by check to: CLEAN WATER KENYA, P.O. BOX 861, LIGONIER, PA. 15658.

On our last trip to Kenya in October 2017, Dr. Winnie Ngami and Pastor Frederick Mbuvi explained the health benefits of using Clean Water Kenya's Portable Bio-Water Filters.

We work closely with Dr. Winnie and Pastor Frederick of the Kampo Tribe in the Karanga Region of Kenya located 4 hours northeast of Nairobi.

Cost of the Filter is $25. Can you help with a donation? It will save lives.

Hi Everyone!

The CHUJIO FILTER SYSTEM we now use in Kenya (based on the Potters For Peace model) has been studied extensively by M.I.T., Tulane University and the Universities of Colorado and North Carolina. Millions are in use worldwide through the Red Cross, Red Crescent, UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, PLAN International, Project Concern International, OXFAM and USAID.

These filters are low-tech, easy-to-maintain, filter out 99.88% of all waterborne disease and are proven to lower diarrhea incident rates by up to 70%.

Our friend, Dr. Rob Quick of the Center For Disease Control, uses these filters where he works on the far side of Kenya bordering Uganda and is very pleased with the results.

Any amount you can contribute to this campaign WILL HELP SAVE LIVES. This is proven.

Thanks For Your Support!

Hi Everyone!

Our Annual Online Fundraiser will run for 45 days and end on March 17th. I hope you'll once again consider supporting us in the vital work we do: bringing clean disease-free drinking water to remote Maasai and Kampo tribes in the Rift Valley and Northeastern Kenya.

The information on this site and on our website chronicles what we've been able to accomplish to date BECAUSE OF YOU.

Your past support has saved and enriched countless lives both in Kenya and Puerto Rico. I applaud you for your concern and generosity and look forward to your continued support.

With All Best Wishes,

Ken Clark, Founder/Vice-President
