Bryan Hebert/CK Aero Flood Damage

If you fly remote control airplanes and your plane actually flies straight, you probably have Bryan Hebert to thank in some way, shape, or form. Bryan has been a great friend to my father and I for a couple decades. We've always flown airplanes designed by him, and utilized his amazing process of fine-tuning our airplanes to fly to their full potential. He's been a great friend and a huge help on a regular basis to SO many of us. Now it's time to return the favor.
Before Dawn yesterday (August 13th), Bryan and his wife Missy were sound asleep in their Baton Rouge, Louisiana home when they were woken by rushing water. With no prior warning, his entire neighborhood was severely flooding.
Thankfully, Bryan and Missy were able to get to their SUV, and slowly drive to higher ground as their house was consumed. Their house and all of their belongings is a total loss, and CK Aero will be down for a while. They had no idea they were in a flood zone, and were completely blindsided by this disaster. The timing couldn't be worse considering some very serious health issues Missy has been battling recently.
Bryan and Missy will literally have to start over, and deal with the time consuming hassle of their insurance claim. 100% of donations will go towards getting Bryan and Missy back on their feet as fast as possible.
Whether you're part of the flying community and have used Bryan's trimming and setup guide, bought an airplane from him, or are just a fellow hobbyist, anything will help get 2 great, generous people back on their feet. If the role was reversed, Bryan would be the first to help. Trust me, I know first hand.
Aside from the personal, priceless losses, Bryan ran his business; CK Aero from the shop inside the house. He had just received a shipment of F3A airplanes, and all are a total loss. Approximately $15,000 will help Bryan get his business back on it's feet. Anything will help, no donation is too small. With enough shares within our "Flying Family", we can easily reach that goal.
