I am Robin Rosenberger, owner of MoonDrop Circus as well as the Director and Producer of Community Circus Week . I am a professional circus performer based in Kansas City, MO.

I am raising money to cover upfront costs for the 3rd Annual Community Circus Week being held at The Arts Asylum Theater the week of January 18th - 24th or 2016. Community Circus Week will be providing 8 circus shows and various workshops throughout the week. The shows include 4 showings of the MoonDrop Main Stage Show, a circus theatre show with a theme and story; fun for the whole family. 2 Community Showcases that invite local and regional performers, amateur and professionals, to sign up to perform their routines in front of our audiences. This will be our second year teaming up with Kansas City Cabaret , who produces two Late Night Variety shows for the adults, which include burlesque, circus arts, comedy and hilarious emcees.
The money contributed from GoFund Me will go to the following:
1. Marketing costs to help spread the word to the future circus fans of Kansas City. Marketing includes Postcards, Flyers and Poster production as well as weekly newspaper ads if the budget allows.
2. Deposits to secure a lighting technician, poster art work, and venue costs.
3. Rigging, set design and costumes. Our main show produced by MoonDrop Circus involves amazing circus acts including aerial, juggling, hula hooping, dance and more. We would love to have a chance to produce a set that fits the theme of our show and produce some costume items that contribute to the success of the show. There are always rigging costs associated with making our aerial acts both safe and well blended into the show.
The funds to help with these prelimanry expenses need to be gathered by the New Year! It would mean so much to myself as Director and Producer of this full week of Circus Arts in Kansas City and to all the performers involved in all of the shows. I strive to make this week more successful each year, but I need some help from the fans of circus arts - that's you!
