Cindy Augustine's Cancer Fight


Our caring, beautiful, and generous friend, Cindy Augustine, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Here is her story:

In March 2017, Cindy discovered a lump underneath her arm near her lymph nodes while she was traveling. After a stressful and drawn-out series of tests back home, she received a diagnosis of Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. This news was an obvious shock to Cindy and to everyone who loves her.



The process to beat this will be a battle of a lifetime and Cindy is working with a crack team of physicians at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, tackling each step with her signature courage, grace, and humor.

She just began an aggressive treatment plan that includes four months of chemotherapy, then surgery followed by radiation.



While the physical and financial burden of fighting breast cancer is challenging at any stage in life, it is particularly hard when you work in the freelance space.

All donations collected via this site will go towards helping to offset the exorbitant costs of treatment over the next several months.
