Ciara Nelson's fight

Ciara has an inoperable brain tumour which was discovered in June 2016 due to a fall in a netball game. Recently Ciara's tumour has changed for the worse , her tumour is a high grade glioma and now she is in a battle for her life. Due to positioning of her tumour deep in the midbrain biopsy and removal are not options due to the risks of death, brain damage or stroke, conventional therapy (chemo and radiation)is also not being offered due to the fact we cannot determine the exact type of tumour with a biopsy.
I'm not giving up and I will do everything that I can to get her the best treatment I can, I'm asking for help to achieve this, to save Ciara's life. Currently we are endeavouring to take Ciara to Sydney to see Charles Teo the worlds most renowned neurosurgeon and investigating other options that could potentially save her, such as Gamma knife surgery which is $27000 approximately in Sydney, proton therapy in the US and Cyberknife surgery as well as alternative medications. None of these will be possible without some help due to the high costs involved with specialists, travel etc
For me it's hard to ask for help but as I don't have private health insurance and some of these options are very costly. I can't put a value on Ciara's life.
Any money raised that it is not used for Ciara's treatment will be donated to support other families who are have children with brain tumours.
