Supporting the Mache Family with Chuck’s Final Medical Bills

On March 16, 2017, Chuck Mache went to the emergency room with acute abdominal pain. Five short weeks later, surrounded by the loving embrace of his family, Chuck succumbed to an aggressive form of liver cancer at the age of 59.

The Intelisys community and the telecom channel are home to those of us who perhaps benefited the most from Chuck’s unique approach to executive coaching, and his raw ability to dive into the heart and soul of salespeople and business leaders. The shock, sadness and pain we share is felt keenly across our entire community.

Chuck began his amazing run with Intelisys in 2006, as our executive coach and mentor. He had a profound impact on the growth and development of our leadership team, and helping us build an extraordinary performance culture. In the decade+ since, Chuck has had a similar impact on dozens of our Sales Partners’ and Supplier Partners’ businesses.

Chuck had the unique ability to reach into our souls and make us see our gifts and flaws as human beings. Those were the moments Chuck yearned for, and those were the moments where Chuck did his best work. It was a beautiful thing.

“I believe in the tremendous power of helping people,” Chuck once said. “I believe we are most rewarded for reaching our hand out and helping. And I don’t mean just financially. If getting better isn’t extremely personal, I don’t know what is. The answers don’t come off the shelf. They come from within. If you are in sales, and you are not constantly improving, then you are on the edge of slowly deteriorating. Market conditions, most notably in highly competitive environments, are always changing. Sometimes it’s very subtle and when we get comfortable, we can tend to miss opportunities. I don’t like my clients to miss opportunities, so I get right in the trenches with them.”

For those of us who have the privilege of calling Chuck a friend, we know that to be wholly true – he has been in the trenches with us. We are blessed beyond measure to have had him in our corners.

Please join us in getting in the trenches with Chuck’s family – his wonderful wife Cindy, his daughters Shannon and Rachael, and his son Thomas*. Chuck’s sudden and swift illness came with costly medical care. Our goal is to ease the burden on his family in this difficult time.

We also welcome you to join us at Celebration of Chuck’s life, which will be held from 2pm – 5pm on Saturday, May 6th, at Legends at Bennett Valley Golf Course, located at 3328 Yulupa Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95405.

*All donations will go completely & directly to Chuck's immediate family.

Hi everyone, important note on making donations from the GoFundMe support team:

If you plan to make a large donation, it helps to alert your credit card provider ahead of time. This will prevent them putting a stop to the card or flagging it as potential fraud activity.

Large donations sometimes fail due to the donor's bank recognizing the donation as unusual activity.

If you do run into any problems, the GoFundMe team has suggested that you write to them directly, and they will be able to help you get the issue resolved immediately. Simply visit: www.gofundme.com/contact.
