OUR RAINMAKERS SOCCER TEAM NEEDS YOUR HELP TO GET TO PROVINCIALS!!! This is the first time in over 20 years they have qualified and have just over a week to raise the funds to go! Let's help get them there and represent Rupert!
Please read the following letter from the coach Simon Ruperto:
The Charles Hays Boys Soccer Team will be attending the Provincial Soccer Championships taking place in Burnaby, BC on November 21st to 23rd. We are the first soccer team in two decades to win our zone and represent Prince Rupert at this level.
Due to the high cost of travel and narrow time frame, we are immediately looking for funds to help defray the expense to students and their families. The team has already begun a number of fundraising initiatives for the trip, however it will not be possible without the support of the community.
Our fundraising goal is $10,000 to help cover the cost of transportation, accommodation, and fees associated with the competition.
If this is a project to which you feel you could help us with our financial needs, any amount of funds you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
