Christopher Pollitt Memorial Fund

On June 14, 2015, at approximately 1:30 PM our friend Christopher Pollitt was involved in a highway collision. It is with deep sadness I announce he did not live through this event.
Chris was a member of a security and loss prevention group, and was in the process of responding to an alarm call when his vehicle was struck. His passing was instantaneous.
Losing Chris was a terrible shock to all of us who knew him, and has proven a devastating blow to his fiancee Meagan, and to his family.
Christopher had emigrated to Canada from the UK, where he had served with distinction in the military, serving two tours of duty in Afghanistan. Chris was also a past member of the Kent Constabulary.
An outgoing and friendly person, Christopher made friends quickly and had become well known and respected by all. His untiring devotion to physical challenges had made him into an excellent runner, and he was also getting involved with parasailing.
As a relative newcomer to Canada, Chris did not qualify for very many benefits, and it is hoped we may build up a fund for Meagan, to assist her in this time of great need. Meagan wishes to pursue her career in paramedicine, and this, along with the day to day exigencies of living, is going to be tough without help.
To all we ask...please assist with the Christopher Pollitt Fund, so we may all help continue the dream Chris began.
ALL proceeds from this campaign will be going directly to Meagan.
